About the Churches of Christ Members of the church of Christ desire to serve God and conform to the teachings of the Bible to the best of our ability.  We believe that the Bible is God's inspired Word. Our worship practices and church beliefs are found within the pages of this flawless book. We claim Christ as our head and believe that salvation is found only through Him. We believe that salvation is received through faith in Jesus Christ and obedience to the Gospel as it is found in I Corinthians 15:1-4 and Romans 6:3-5. (Also see Acts 2:38, I Peter 3:21, Acts 8:26-40; Acts 9:10-19 and Acts 16:25-31.)
