| David Jacobs was born in California and
raised in a Christian home in various cities throughout Texas and along the West Coast. He has been married to Jill Jacobs, a wonderful Christian woman from Northport, AL, since 1993. They have been blessed with two handsome sons, Colin and Cam. David attended Abilene Christian University from 1989-1991 and then transferred to Auburn University in order to obtain a BA in Criminology. He met his wife, Jill, through their mutual involvement with the Auburn Christian Student Center (ACSC). David believes that the time he spent at Auburn with the ACSC helped to plant in him a love for college ministry. Upon graduation, David and Jill moved to Cartersville, GA in order to start their professional careers. David accepted a job with Professional Probation Services (PPS) and Jill became a teacher. David is now the Senior V.P. of Standards at PPS and Jill has since taken a promotion to a much more important job as a stay-at-home mother. David and Jill started worshipping with Oak Hill in December of 2005 and helped to kick off the college ministry in the summer of 2006. |
