Outreach Ministry

Our local Outreach Ministry for Oak Hill Church of Christ is a way for us to give back to our community but more importantly, it is a means to share the love of Jesus.

Some of our local outreach efforts, but certainly not all, are listed below.  Many efforts are made as the needs arise such as helping community members who have lost everything in a house fire, providing transportation to neighbors in need, or participating on various service committees in the community.

Local:  Food Pantry, Habitat for Humanity, Women’s Outreach, Community Kitchen, "Do Good Week", Hispanic Ministry, Uplife - July 4th,  Trunk or Treat Fall Festival, School Supply Drive, "Eggstravaganza" Easter Egg Hunt, Thanksgiving Baskets, Homeless Blessing Bags, Christmas CARE project.

Matthew 25:35-36   For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,   I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

Galatians 6:9-10   Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
